  • Just picked up the spoiler from brian at masterworks. They did a great job repairing the spoiler, even from the bottom you cannot tell that it was ever damaged and alignment is perfect.

The spoiler definitely needs a good wet sand to match up with the rest of my paint, and I am debating clearing it as well as this is a single stage of black. Not sure if its necessary or not.

    • Looks great! I'm curious though why'd they use single stage, did you specify it?

      • I gave no preference. Brian asked, I didn't know what it meant at the time. He said it will be no problem if i want to bring it back for clear. Either way i cannot complain for the price.

        • Ah, I see. Most places would just default to base/clear since that's what the car came with, that's why I was curious. Is this Masterworks at 14 and Stephenson?

Sure is! I used to detail for them occasionally, so I was already familiar with the caliber of work they do. My dad will probably take his Nova there to have a few small body issues fixed too.

Believe me, its driving me crazy! Money is the biggest reason it is still a 4x4, and my weight reduction has only amplified the problem

                            • Yep, getting there one piece at a time. Jonny's bringing me a new front sway bar tomorrow - that and a new torque arm will be going on as soon as my dad gets his Nova off the hoist. Ride height in at least the front is going to be high priority after that.
