they are not bad but they are not needed. I put mine in right before the ls2 came out. Alot of huge HP cars are running the ls2

oh no doubt ls2 is the way to go, i just got mine for the same price

a double roller is easy to install mine was cake, i did have more trouble then most people since i had to shim my windage tray for the rod bolts to clear because of the crank

but its easy

SLP makes an oil pump that does not require shims

double rollers suck. oil pump has to be shimmed. then the risk of pinching the pick up o-ring increases. An Ls2 unit FTW
