Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Should I switch my order to offroad headers rather than the ones with all the EGR shit??
Yea if you're not using the EGR then I would recommend something w/out them. I got 'em on mine and are not in use and last summer I it blew right off. Nice 2-3" hole in my header.
What's the name of this "Dr. Phils" shop? I've been looking for a good LSx shop. I found one down by Fort Wayne, IN, Exotic Performance Plus, but I don't know anything about them.
98 Trans Am WS.6 Cam
Heads
Intake
Full exhaust
More mods to come
All right, if it doesn't work then I'll be okay but I'm working on switching my stall to 3500 rather than 3000. And I'm trying to switch my headers to not having the emissions crap. We'll see if they can still switch it.
yea thats the way to go. Car should run good with headers and the stall. I dont know what all you ordered, but a cutout might be a good idea as well. Cheap and will free up some ponies depending on your catback.

that and it's way to much fun to open it after sitting at a red light for like 15 seconds. you get a lot of looks. haha
oh and make sure you get an electric one. only way to go.
Me coming to help with the install would actually be detrimental to the install process. I'm about as useless as a doorknob on a window when it comes to mechanical stuff.
hahahaha that made my day.

Dr Phil is a guy that used to be a very well respected GM mechanic and then he quit to persue his own business. He works out of his 2 1/2 car garage with a full lift ect. and does a lot of cars. His tune in comparison to my old tune was an unbelieveable difference.

What's he charge for the tune?? I'm trying to align everything right now. I guess there is someone up my way that can dyno tune the car for $300 which isn't too bad at all. So I think that's the last thing I'm trying to narrow it down between right now is who to get the car tuned by and have install the tranny cooler and stall kit.
well the tuning I'd assume would be around $250 as Mike said he charges by how much time it takes him and honestly thats not much for a bolt-on car. He charged me $300 for a complete tune, injector and thermostat install. But if he installs the converter as well I would add another $250-300 for that.

Is there anyway I could get a hold of him? I have been looking for someone to install my Trans Cooler, Yank SS3600, and give me a dyno tune for some time now....Please help me out!
