That would be fine by me just gotta make sure the lift has all the shit off it and were game for beer and pizza. As far as the converter it'll honestly make a world of difference especially launching the car but obiviously she'll need a tire to hook as mentioned. That car will easily go 12.8 no problem with all the mentioned mods and some seat time IMO. Regarding hp and torque numbers she should make more peak hp than you and once the converter goes in she'll have over 500lbs of torque while flashing the converter due to the STR (stall torque ratio) this means that whatever str converter you buy (bigger typically is better) it will multiply the torque figures to deliver more torque when flashed (floored from a dead stop).

            In short look out.

suprised i'm the first one to say it but once you get the 3000 stall in there, you'll want a bigger one. get a 3500 so youll have no regrets. and yes .. get a professional tune none of that handheld crap.

This is a great example that although Mifbody may be a social site, we can still offer technical advice!

Should I switch my order to offroad headers rather than the ones with all the EGR shit??

Change that, I don't think I need that. I just went back to where I ordered the intake and it says that it comes with everything you need to install.

These parts need to start coming in.

Me coming to help with the install would actually be detrimental to the install process. I'm about as useless as a doorknob on a window when it comes to mechanical stuff.

Depending on where you ordered the intake from you may need those pipes. Also I would recommend going with off road headers but if you want cats then you need the EGR so its up to you. If you do get the off road type it will need a tune to turn off the SES light due to no rear O2 sensors as well but Phil will take care of that. As for the converter I personally would have gone 3500 but 3000 will still see a decent gain and you don't have a cam so it should be ok, I originally had a 3500 and then jumped to a 4000 and I'd go 4400 if I wasn't planning on spraying.
