Since this thread is back from the dead, I calculated yesterday that i have approximately 40 hours of work before my car is ready for the M&G and track day
Lucky devil. I have a lot more than that...

Paint, Intake install, exhaust install, rear axle, ds install, stereo components... Ah its good to have projects yes?

Im saying 40 hours before my car is in good driveable condition again. the rear axle isnt going back in until all the painting is done. Then i have two electrical nightmares to tackle: EWP and a Wideband. I also need to finish my stupid wheels. Keep in mind i go home maybe 2 days every month.

Ive got all this on my plate and i still talk like im going to do a cam swap over the summer... Im gonna be lucky to have this stuff done for the M&G.

I havent even looked at whats involved in it yet. I just remember seeing jons when he was his and he was tangled up in foliage of wires.

I'll give you a hand when you come back home Joel I think if you get a couple guys and everything you need parts-wise we could know it out faster than that. The biggest thing is having all the supplies first.

Thanks Jeff. I dont think anyone wants to help with painting though... its total b**** work that just simply takes forever. Jon said he would help me with the wideband so maybe I'll give you a call too. I always supply plenty of beer

Ok maybe they have simplified these products since jon did his. do you have yours outputting to a narrowband gauge? Im guessing that could be one of the most time consuming steps.

Huh? Do you mean is it simulating a NB output to the PCM? No, it's not...I have a real NBO2 for that....no sense in doing that unless you don't have any extra bungs welded into the exhaust.

n-n-n-no. I mean I plan on wiring a 0-5v output from the wideband to my existing narrowband gauge on my a-pillar. No particular reason i just figure i might as well use the gauge if i have it.

Ah I see.......guess that would work doesn't make alot of sense but whatever floats your boat.

why is that? its better to have a wideband reading on a gauge than the narrowband which doesnt tell you much of anything.

Idk maybe i should just get rid of the gauge altogether and put something else there.
