I always loved big block torque numbers. Makes the whole HP thing seem obsolete when the tires get to spinnin' from a 20 mph roll. They generally don't like high R's, but man do they make take off power quick.

Why the Hell do I have to press 1 for english?!

Yes it does it if leave it in first and shift manually the car is a beast!

BTW stuff done to the car are: Eldlebrock 750 carb, eldlebrock intake, a cam, holley fuel pump, K&N airfilter! Some head work! Long tube headers 3" exhaust to flowmaster mufflers!

th400's are really fun when you just leave them in first. They WILL eventually shift to second even though you have it in first.

The motor can do more if you did a different cam or what not.
                    Sorry for the confusion

I threw a Harwood 4" cowl on my 2nd gen SBC. As much as people say "well, it helps a little". I know from experience, it was like a turbo kicking in. Swear to God that car pulled from the start, right through the traps at the end of the 1320. What A Ride!!
