The simplicity of the Slide makes a huge but humble statement. Anything but those Spyder's. And especially nothing in black! Hidden hardware for the win

I like these, I think I would do the hidden hardware... honestly, all area very nice options. I guess I like these because the resemble the IROCs but have the custom look with tighter edges. And, of course, the 18's would finish off the custom look. Really nice. Would like to go to 18s at some point too. I have 11" wide on the back of my car with 285 Gforce tires on 17s and I have less then a finger of space between the tire and bump stops. I am upgrading to all adjustable rods in the rear so I can tune that space. If you don't already have an adjustable Panard bar you will need it to protect tires.

I too like the old rims, but these will be pretty awesome!

Check these bad mamba jambas out....19x12 rear with a crazy lip......this wheel shows the extra deep concave design that all the above wheels are availible in. I love how the spoke runs out onto the lip. I could

not fit a backspacing like this but even if the spokes run out closer to the edge it would still look killer.....I think these wheels actually look closer to the factory IROC's than than the Slide I posted above. I think these would look perfect with a chrome lip vs. the brushed.

Wheels and tires ordered. Thanks for everybody's input. I ended up going with none of the wheels posted in the pole....LOL I went with the Chamber wheels which is shown below in the deep concave. Chrome hoop with a brushed and cleared center...and hidden hardware for all you haters...lol. Decided to get a bit crazy and ordered 18x12's for the rear, will be running a 335/30/18 tire. Gonna have to mini tub and run offset control arms....should make for a nice winter project.

What tires are you going to use James? The NT05 doesn't come in a 335/30-18... I think you're stuck with PS2, Pirellis or BFG unless you find some used Goodyear F1 GS Fioranos.

It's a little hard to imagine them with the different finish and mounted on the car.....but hey, that's the price you pay for going outside the box right..hahaha

Going with Toyo R888...going to see how well they work for a street tire..I've heard both bad and good reviews from people who drive them on the street.

I'm having the front wheels made with a thick pad to accommodate either a monoblock caliper or the CTSv caliper with a 14" rotor in the future.

What's the turn around time on these wheels?

He told me lastnight that with the finish options I wanted it would be 8 weeks. I guess their powdercoater is slow..normally they run about 6 weeks lead time....should get them just in time for snow...lol.
