  • Picking new wheels for the IROC

Thought I would see what you guys think about these wheels. I love wheel shopping because of all the great wheels style being made now-a-days. These wheels below are made by a small wheel company out in California. They sell all sorts of different brand wheels, but they have started manufacturing thier own line of wheels called NewGen. They are running a sale (which ends today) on all their 3 piece forged wheels. I talked with them today and put down a deposit to get in on the sale. I haven't decided which one I'm going with yet, but I do have a favorite. I can get any of these wheels for the same price and in any finish combo I want (chrome, powdercoat, brushed) all for about the same price. The wheels can be had with exposed hardware or hidden. All of the wheels are fully 3D machined and in a concave center which makes for an interesting spoke and how it comes out from the wheel and interfaces with the lip.

Vote for which wheel you like best.

This is the Slide..I like this wheel because it's kinda like a modern example of the single line IROC wheels.

This is a multispoke wheel that I like, just not sure it's the right style for the car.

And this is my favorite, I think it will add a little aggresiveness to the car, probably would go with a brushed center vs. the black. the cool thing about these wheels is they are brand new and have yet to be put on any of thier customers cars..so I would be the first.

Slide would look great with a BIG brake kit...chrome would be tight!

      Descendent....I'm with ya....not feelin it.

Spyder might look good in the finish you thinking about. Would be busy on your car.

Can you get them WITHOUT rivets?

Rivets? Lol...those are nuts and bolts Bro. Yes...I can have any of them made with hidden hardware...the Spyder shown actually has the bolts inserted from the back.

the spyder looks sweet too, specially in the matte black, but reminds me too much of the year one wheels for the trans am

i really like the first and 3rd ones.. .. however i think i would probably go with the 1st ones for your car.. u have the nice brakes behind them to show off so it should work well

+1 for hidden hardware - what a PITA to clean exposed bolts! I'll be different here, I like #2 with the thicker spokes. The #3 mesh don't scream IROC to me and I bet if you got #1 you will want big brakes within a week to fill them out! I'm sure whatever you end up getting will look great on your car - It's hard to pick out wheels without seeing them on a car first.

I was also thinking that, 5 spoke or twin 5 spoke look the best, so maybe #1 with a big brake upgrade will be the best out of the 3 options
