I'm with Wade on the respirator. If you read the back of that can I bet you will find a ton of nasty organic chemicals that you shouldn't be breathing. I work with so many nasty chemicals during the work week its insane. The MSDS and respirator have become my best friend at work.

        Just like that...that's how I did mine...$125 a wheel.

Except that after the machining, I asked them to powdercoat clear over the whole thing.

i dont disagree, but the idea here was to not spend $500, if i wanted to do that id just buy OEM ones.

Im going to check the status again right now see what my dads 11 horse pressure washer at work can do.

Well here's the update. I have thrown 3 different stripper chemicals at it, both spray and brush methods, and now i just hit them with a 0 degree nozzle on an 11 horse pressure washer and still cant move the last remaining bits of it. heres what they look like now, the project is going on hold for the time being to collect ideas.

the mode i have my camera in brings out detail way more than what shows in person. If it werent for those last little bits of paint, i would be VERY happy with the results...

It is Frustrating to think it was all working well then Nothing it gets just to the point that you want it cleaner and the Sh*t just won't come off.

I tried to clean my berllinetta rims then just sent them out for re-coating.

Keep us posted when you have a new

still seems if you completely submerge the front half of the wheels in stripper for a while you would see better results than just putting a layer on.
