          Update time!

          Trans installed
Passenger head taken off to remove broken stud I forgot
Starting on the hotside sometime this weekend!

Still trying to figure out how I want to route the downpipe. The bumper exit is so tempting/cheaper/easier than running a 3 inch out the back. Plus, my chin spoiler is already cracked!

I wouldn't do bumper exit. Another reason to get pulled over.

Agreed. Plus, I'd dig the stealth factor of it running out the back.

                Definitely this.

One of my brothers' vehicles, his '82 Mercury Cougar GS wagon (yes, this exists), has a 2.3L Turbo and a T5. At first he ran just dumped it right under the front seats - and even that was pretty noticeable. He has a full-length exhaust exiting out back now, and it's far more sneaky.

Well worth it, in my opinion. You don't need a muffler, so at least that part is easier.

I guess I will cross that road when I get there. It was either a bumper exit or behind the front tire. I'm not really about the stealth factor I guess... Lol

Making progress, ordered the 3 inch pipe for the downpipe.

Look at all that room! I remember literally standing in the engine bay in front of the 2.8L on my '86 to work on it.

Lookin' good! That intake manifold makes me nostalgic for my old 2.8l. Sold that car 18 years ago!

Ha, nah - it was a bondo & rust bucket and a half. Decent first car, but definitely not a keeper.
