I'd leave the rear seats in. Biggest mistake I made in my 93. Well, I also removed the mounting brackets which prevented me from re installing them.
I can't justify their use in the car. Plus my cat really likes sitting in them lol. She's sitting in them right now! I will be leaving all bracketry in so it's all reverseable. But the seat belts need removable because that shit hideous

• I did rear seat deletes in my camaro. Love the extra storage for organization.

• I actually have a great idea planned One that will add minimal weight and look (hopefully) great. I will need a some black carpet though. This gray is hideous.

Does anybody know if there is a difference between any of the carpets through the years besides color? I think ebony came out in 2000?

If you are a cat, the only thing better than an F-body seat is a cardboard box.

• Ebony started in 2000...which, it isn't actually black either.

I plan on yanking the rear seat bottoms when I put the car away for the winter...reason being, I'd like to try to get my ankle biters' car seats into the Camaro better for next season...really didn't use it much this season with the youngest still being rear facing. Anyway, seems some seats fit much better with the lower cushion removed.

• Just to be sure here so I know what I'm looking at.

Do firebirds share the same carpet?
Since Ebony started in 2000, was there any black or similar color before then? I think my car has light gray carpet or graphite.

• As soon as I decide what I want to do. If I want to just cam it or do the heads too.. Still need to make a decision on the clutch situation.

Would anybody care to help?

• Competition clutch. I have the stage 4 single disc. Drives great but ill be going with stage 5 (6 puck) next time. 6 puck will shift a lot faster at the expense of some drivability if you wanna bang gears.

For some reason I read spec clutch instead of competition. Long day..
JoeliusZ28, how long has the clutch lasted so far? Would you happen to recommend the stage 4?

• Stage 4 would be an excellent clutch for most people. Good driveability and strong engagement. Im just not happy with how fast it shifts because I already had a 6 puck before.
