Here's the newly dipped tank and modified the mounting brackets.

I'm going to mount the tank later today then I can start the plumbing. Still have to figure out where and how to mount the valve block and compressors.
In the mean time I've been looking at the control panel and in reference to a statement I made earlier about my hatred of free advertising, I've elected to 86 the gauge panel they gave me...

And use the tripple gauge mount I had sitting in my garage since my Epic days...

Gives me an excuse to buy a third gauge for something down the road. As far as the switches go I'll have to figure out where to mount those. I'm debating between the center console or a-piller... I'll wait till I drive the car on Monday and see what "feels" best and then decide.

I suppose I could do that. Not sure why i didn't think about that. Thank you. Guess it helps having several eyes on the same project. Somtimes I think I'm too ahead of myself. I guess it'll depend on what works best for the placement of it all on the dash. Haven't decided where the switchs will be best at.

Made progress on my compressor "shelf" as im going to start calling it. Laid out the cardboard, trim, messure, trim, messure, trim, messure, tr.... Well you get the idea. Then i transfered the cardboard template to a piece of plywood and cut it out. Made some supports under it and viola. It'll work great. No pics unfortunatly cause my phone sucks today. Besides, its kinda messy. Im going to cover it in some left over fabric fromwhen i covered my door panels to make it more presentable.

in other news i think i decided where the switches will go. On the top of the center console above the ash tray. Kinda hard to explain but its in a good arms reach and will look pretty good when done. And ill still be using my tripple gauge mount. So the project continues...

Now the real fun begins. Tearing out the interior and routing the wiring and air hoses. Fun times ahead

Grant trust me, we are all following and watching, do not think no one is not paying attention... I have lowered my post count a lot recently but projects we are always lurking... Keep up the good work and post pictures, whore that car out!

Here's a question for you. I tried running the air lines to the tank tonight and ran into an issue. I mounted the valve block too close to the compressor and couldn't get the air line into its fitting. Easy fix i just had to drill a new hole and mount the valve block 20 degrees. Problem is now the relays have nowhere to mount to the shelf.
Do the relays really need to be mounted? Or are they fine just hanging loose in the wiring harness?

Pretty jealous right now that you get to work outside on your car and when I was on my way to work this morning it was -9 degrees outside.....

Why not mount the relays on the brace for spare tire hold-down?......
