Yea! so I think the plan will still continue forward with what I was planning to do.. and I'll just build a crate for the engine/trans to store it in case I want to return it back to stock at some point. but for now.. I WILL enjoy the 5.0 that is in it

So last night I got to look at the car for a few minutes, pulled all the loose interior pieces out of the inside and decided to see electrical wise what all works.. well before I got that far.. my battery was dead (the same one that started the engine a few nights before).. so it looks like there is a draw somewhere in the cars electrical system.. threw the battery on the charger.. and thats all I have done so far haha :\

next step will be to get a wiring diagram and start going over all the wiring with a multimeter and see whats going on.. might as well replace all the fuses and relays while I am at it.

does anyone know of any common problem areas in the wiring that causes a large draw on the battery like this?

it was much easier coming off since we knew what to do at that point haha!

And hands down the 15th Anniversary is probably my favorite of all the anniversary TA's made. I could sit in the garage and stare at that car all day long.

So first step for the car is getting it running.. I plan to rebuild the quadrajet on it myself. I have rebuilt plenty of motorcycle carbs.. But this will be my first carb for a car.

I snapped a few pics of the carb.. But couldn't find any ID numbers on it.. It's pretty dirty so they may just be hiding under grime.

Can anyone ID this carb off hand so I can get a rebuild kit for it?

Also it appears as though this carb doesn't have an electric choke assembly?

If anyone can point me in a good direction on these I'd appreciate it.
