Easy to find a clean V6 shell down south and even easier whenever I finally manage to get a diesel truck. They will never be worth anything.

          • May have to break out the angle grinder on the fronts as well, especially if I go lower.

Up till now I've just been letting it self clearance, but it seems the car is still getting faster and generating more grip so it's perpetually rubbing every time I run it.

                    • You could just take the fenders off.

I'd bet rolling the lip would get you enough clearance, though, unless you've already done that.

                      • The Car is at my dads shop. He's currently working on it, prepping it for next Auto-X season. Next time I'm down there I'll snap some pix.

"CP" is C Prepared for SCCA solo events, as EchoMirage stated.

Some one asked me about the Rear Flares. They are Fiberglass, 1969 Mustang Flares modified to kinda fit the Camaro. They don't fix exact but the diameter is close. Look closely to the lower front of the flare and it just comes up short of the rocker. The Fronts use to look like the rear until My dad cut and re-glassed it.

The entire Front end is a Drag Race Complete Fiberglass clip. We had to cut out the hood. The Fenders and bumper are one complete piece. We also had to cut about a 12-16 inches off of the rear or the clip to make it fit by the doors. the rear hatch is a fiberglass piece as well.
                        The car weights about 2,600lbs.

here is some more pix i found back in 2003 at the SCCA Solo Nationals in Topeka, KS.

Part#MF69RF3 they are not cheap 375 a pair, you need 2 set per car.

I am still a few months out before I can do it myself (Want to have the rims tires first).

Wow, that was easy..... Now to get it DONE. I plan on running 315 front and 355 rear.. Now that I know it can be done, time to look at options."
