          One step at a time.

Wet sanded the rear fender the best I could and took some compound to it. It will work for now.

The grill came out pretty good.

If the black car doesn't sell I won't be that upset.

This weekend I hope to get the rear end issues delt with and do a little front end work. Can't stand it sitting so high.

I think half a coil would be good.

If you want my stock 98 springs, they are yours. Just taking up space in the shop.

I used Eibach LT1 kit on my 98 (running iron 6.0) but Stranos recommends the kit when his setup is out of stock.

Huh? When I called Sam asking about what he thought of the Pro Kit for normal driving, not a race car, he said and I quote " You get what you pay for, In my opinion, their spring rate sucks, there are much better options out there."

The question that came to my mind was, why would you sell a shit product that you wouldn't recommend from your own site? Seems kinda two-faced to me.

He doesn't like the LS1 pro kit. Spring rates are softer than the LT1 pro kit.

I never had to talk to the guy, just read his forum posts. One post stated that if he was out of his springs (made to his specs by Vogtland, they are nice and weigh less than most springs on the market) then he recommends the LT1 pro kit. I found a deal on mine brand new so I jumped on it, saved almost $100 over Stranos springs.

hmm maybe he was confised when i asked him about the springs.. cause i specified LT1 prokit was going to go in an LS1 car.

didn't really matter though... i went with BMR's and koni's

Yeah, I've seen the same thing where he likes the LT1 prokit. Guy can be an ass, but that doesn't make him wrong on his opinions/experience.

I have the LT1 pro kit on my black car and love it. Because of his choice of words a few times...hes lost me forever as a possible customer.

Time for a small update. I got a rear from Schubly (Brett) super nice guy BTW and huge thanks for the free ten bolt.

We took everything apart and swapped it over to the "new" rear end. Cleaned everything, painted where needed.

New rear end is very quiet and seems to work pretty good. I installed new KYB Adjustable socks in the rear to match the fronts.

I will be waiting until this weekend to cut the springs so I can cut them all at one time.
