Nearly $900 of parts on the way from summit

    Flex plate
    ARP fp and tc bolts
    Trans cooler & lines
    shifter
    bmr 4l80 crossmember
    4l80e mount
    transgo hd2 kit
    trans filter + gasket

All I should need now is:
    Internal trans wiring harness
    Speartech conversion harness
    Dipstick and tube
    Convertor

Need to shake the money tree more

I'll probably come out to $2300-$2400 for the entire swap.

FTI is one of the companies I'm considering.

Is it loose stall wise or efficiency wise?

EDIT: did you have them set it up for the motor or the spray?

Efficiency wise they were told my HP and nitrous plans. Just put it back in this morning back to the dyno Thursday. Not pulling it out again.....nice guys to deal with but I would recommend YANK......I should have kept the YANK

Interesting - I see guys like Carter01 setting the stock bottom end LS1 nitrous record with FTI convertors.

Guess I'll have to think it over some more. Thanks Jim

I have an FTI converter and could not be happier with it.

not mine.. mine has been spot on since the day i got it.. works perfectly.. its going to be getting sent back but by my choice bc it will need to be tighter for more boost

hell even Dr Phil liked it when he tuned the car..

I think you'll be happy with an fti converter, some converters out of the box are spot on some aren't... its for sure not uncommon to pull a converter a couple times to get it just right. Ive got an fti in mine and will see next week how it drives. Jim's though was seriously, seriously loose and was a joke. Im sure he will only need to pull it least another dozen times anyway good luck getting it going, im sure youll be happy with hiw much it picks up the first half

Jim isn't pulling a Larry on us is he?

Larry's was sucking the pan dry and acting like it was a 6000 stall.
