Thanks for the advise, I need to order a D/S loop from them too.Originally posted by Nocooler View PostCall MWC and order some traverse shock mounts for your QA1's and switch out the bushings for bearings.
I should be able to dig out the part numbers for the bearings.
This will eliminate all shock binding in the rear, and reduce wear on the shocks.
Let me know the part numbers when/if you find them

a lot of people are liking the new Viking shocks. the whole kit which is double adjustable shocks, front and rear, springs, Torrington bearings, wrench and hardware kit is like 850 bucks. or like 350ish a pair for the rear. theyre 19 way adjustable on both the compression and rebound. also I would really put an anti roll bar on the car. BMR, UMI, both make good ones but are heavy, MWC, racecraft, wolfe are going to be hollow chromoly ones that are 15 lbs lighter and do the same job.Last edited by dawdaw; November 11th, 2013, 09:15 PM.

I'd want good shocks out back if you are going with a chassis mount torque arm - as it'll hit the tires really hard and you'll need to control the hit or it'll just spin.
Ditch the front bar with the qa1's adjusted tighter you won't even miss it.
When the car starts twisting at the launch - then it's time for an air bag or drag bar.
The TQ arm will be full length relocated though.
What shocks are good for the money and decent on the street?

if youre keeping OD and converter lockup, get a 9" and 4.30s
The 255 + EAA combo is a great setup... i recommend going the full length of the car like i did. Go heavy on the fasteners!
As far as sway bars go you will weight transfer better with the front bar removed, plus it weighs a decent amount. I would keep a rear bar though if not upgrade it.Last edited by JoeliusZ28; November 11th, 2013, 07:51 PM.

I have a lot planned for the winter, already accumulating parts.
I am saving money for an RPM 4l60e
I really want to get my 60' times down.
My suspension setup might need some help
QA1 R with 300lb springs up front What is a good setting to start with?
Stock springs and shocks in the back Not sure what to replace with
Stock Torque Arm Going Adjustable this winter
Stilll have both sway bars Any real gains by removing?
Suspension Adjustments Going to be needing some advice on this
3.42 gears Thinking 3.90
Also looking to upgrade my fuel system
I have new red top SVO injectors.
Thinking a racetronix 255 with hot wire kit and the stainless lines from our sponsor.

My car is all mechanically sound, just may not be up to par with added safety equipment. NO ET tech asked me if I had a helmet and that was all.

test and tunes can even suck, last time i went we waited over 30 mins and it was hot as balls out. tech is picky about stupid shit, like the battery having a tie down etc.

No et tech is pretty played back......but unless u enjoy sitting I line for hours at a time to run I would go another time to test car

Alright, have you guys been to Milan on a T&T night recently?
I wonder how they are with tech, I don't have a roll bar or cage.
I think if track prep is good and I heat the tires up well this time it should hook.
