Thanks guys. Even though I haven't felt good I did get alittle done.

I have removed the fuel tank and welded on the new race sump.
Old fuel lines have been removed.
Ls9 head gaskets have made it along with the alper motorsports head studs.

Yes those are the ones he found on the net. I they sent 1 extra so I took the opertunity a drove into flint to a place that dose all sorts off messureing to compaire them against the arps. they stretched it out and the messurments came out really close to each other. They are litterly the same part streagth. I was surprised. 190.000 psi they both stretched the same. only differance I see Is I didn't buy the Arp name.

Glad to know I could help. Iv have nothing against arp or guys that spend the extra money to buy them for the piece of mind. But for the price you can't really go wrong. Plenty of guys are using them and I know a couple a throwing 28 psi at these studs on ls motors in sand rails.

Well where ready to hook the trans to the engine and slide it in to become full mockup, but I'm still waiting on the wiring harness. Joe has been really busy with moving his shop, and I know he will get it done soon. so I have no worries.

Www.Alpermotorsports.com no there not the same as pro comp. there suppost to be made here I the USA. They just found a good fastner company to make then. $65 for the set.
