I'm in the same area. Yes big turbos generally have better street manners till they spool. Then your on ice.Originally posted by ryanwarby01 View PostLooks great Ken! I've always heard bigger turbos have better street manners. Are you still in Lennon?

Don't do this! You will need to change everything. Put a pipe in the water outlet (one that is close to the ID of the tube) and pull it over to the passenger side. The outlet will rotate, it's a pressed in pieceOriginally posted by masterfab View Post****I'm looking for a good used f-body water pump. something not to expensive but working. If any one has one the let me know. The stock water pump hits the throttle body.

That won't work. I just tryed it. dirty dingo make a spacer for the f body water pump so it will work with the truck acc. All you need is the pump and the belt.Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostDon't do this! You will need to change everything. True, forgot about the spacers. I was able to get both 5.3L pumps to work with the LS1 intake though. Two foot pipe and some heat from a propane torch and it rotated just fine.

Problem is I have a Lokar universal throttle cable and the end that attaches to the tb hits the spout and won't let it return to idle.Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostTrue, forgot about the spacers. ahh.
Smack the pipe with a hammer
I'll probably run into this then, planning to run Lokar in the '60 Impala

You know I was thinking a throttle body spacer might work to. I has a video going up in about 30 minutes showing the problem.Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View Postahh.
