    • Grabbed a driveshaft off FB Marketplace too, 3” aluminum. Previously went 9.90s so it should be plenty for my 13s lol Quick Performance F9 has been ordered with a Yukon center, can’t wait to have 4.10s instead of 2.73s lol

Yes, sir. 4.11s, should be a nice change from the stock 2.73s lmao.

Ive tried to find a list of all parts needed but I haven't found a definitive list of everything needed. This is what I bought http://www.quickperformance.com/QP-G...xles_p_55.html . The only special options i got was the fabricated big web, and lightened axle flanges. Here is by order:

I think it should work with my founders LCAs. I have a feeling I might need to get an adjustable panhard bar it center it. My 10-bolt sat perfect with my drop so the one I have now is a Founders non adjustable. They say it will work with a stock torque arm but i might grab a tubular before spring anyway. Anyone see anything that I will probably need to get before the install.

              • It's been a quiet summer for the shitbird I've been throwing parts at what I think is an electrical issue. I took the car to work one day and out of nowhere it started to completely lose power for a split second. The gauges would all drop to zero and it would buck like it lost all power for a split second. Ended up making it to work but as I pulled into the parking lot the car just shut off. It would crank but not fire, and the pump was not making any priming sounds. I had it towed home and rewired the fuel pump with an aftermarket relay and all new (bigger) wiring. It fired right up but died again on the test drive I got it back home and tried bypassing the fuel pump trigger wire to see if that was the cause, still doing it. I've also replaced the crank angle sensor, plugs, and wires but still nothing.

The wiring in my car has always been a nightmare so i've finally bit the bullet and bought a new swap harness from BP-Automotive last week so HOPEFULLY that fixes the issue, but at this point i'm not to confident. The SES light flickers on for a split second randomly while driving but the car is not giving me any codes to work with so i'm just throwing money at it at this point.

                • Prior to this my tach has been acting up (bounces randomly, video below), while trying to figure that out I was told to check grounds. I only had one (from the block, splitting to the battery and the chassis)after doing the swap and it was fine for a couple years before the issue started. I pulled that one off and cleaned everything up, and also added two more from the alt bracket to the chassis, and the pass head to the chassis.

After adding the one from the pass head to chassis is when the car started doing the things mentioned in the above post. I don't know if the ground caused something else to freak out, or if it's coincidence that it happened the next time I drove it. It's got a full tank of new gas too.

Idle bounce issue i'm also having. when driving it shoots all the way from zero to the top of the gauge.

                  • Back from the dead! After fighting with the same running issue all last summer I gave up and shipped it off to my friend's shop. He's going to hopefully figure that out and then knock out the pile of parts I've built up since last winter. I couldn't handle another summer driving the DD lol.

Quick performance F9 with truetrac and 4:11 gears, line lock with ABS delete, BP Automotive swap harness, MWC torque arm and adjustable panhard bar, and Spohn adjustable LCAs all going on. Also got some 15" wheels for the back and some 275 drag radials for fun cruising. I'll hopefully have some more updates over the next couple weeks as he has time to dive into it.

                    • Did your ABS work before? I'm curious if ABS hardware from a '94 would work in a '96. I'm guessing no because of OBDII. Mine has never worked as long as I've had the car, the module is basically bricked. Looks like it got brake fluid dumped on it at some point. Mine isn't a racecar, more of a cruiser, and I'd like ABS to work really just because it's supposed to. So maybe if the '94 stuff will work, I'd be willing to take it off your hands...

Mine currently is not active. The computer and wiring for it were pulled before I got the car, so I'm really just deleting the block and lines out of the engine bay. You're welcome to have it if you find out it will work, It will most likely just get scrapped otherwise.

Once it's done i'll also have a set of Founders LCAs and a Spohn adjustable panhard bar, and a 10-bolt that is stock other than a braced cover, and has about 105k miles on it that i'll be looking to get out of the way.

                              • IT'S ALIVE!!!

Got the Quick performance 9" rear end and BP Automotive wiring harness in. Also had the heads milled a little to help with the power loss from the rear end. Also threw in the SJM ABS delete and line lock too. The numbers aren't too impressive but going to 4.11 gears should make it feel like a different car. Picked it up last week, is it spring yet?
