  • The rotors hurt, 14" rotors aren't cheap lol. I went with Granatelli rotors because they where the best deal I could find for a set. Most companies wanted $150 a rotor! Brembo rotors (slotted or drilled, couldn't get blanks) are $454 for two!

And I get an awesome deal on hawk pads through a friends company. I'm even running HPS's /brembo blanks in my DD prizm lol.

Just looking for spindles and the brakes will be complete I believe.

          • they are going to get shoehorned into the ZR1 wheels.

            a little grinding:

            and then:

no brackets needed, the calipers bolt right to LS spindles. the rotors will need the center opened up to fit the hub so i'll take the new rotors and an old one to the machine shop and have them match the current rotor.

i bet hitting the pedal is going to feel like running into a wall compared to the lt1 brakes.

How often do you go to MSURC events? Dante has those brakes on his G8, you could probably ask him what they're like.

                      • i was at most of them last year, i think i only missed 1 at the end of the year. i *should* have them on before the season starts. hopefully my lines get here soon.

i'm not to thrilled with Flynbye performance's customer service, and i'm about to just cancel my order and go through Kore3 instead.

Good product, but a swamped guy. Ed used to be great when starting out but now it seems he struggles with the amount of calls/orders coming in. I've read somewhere that it's just him and his wife trying to run it all

With that said, I hope you get taken care of soon! I got all my parts from him within a week of placing my orders.

                          • I'm at a week as of today and haven't even got a email saying my order is received, processing, shipping, ect. I hope it can be resolved as well, I'd rather just get the stuff then have to deal with refunding and reordering elsewhere.
