      • Had to get 18" wheels to run the brembos, I ground down one to fit a 17 and it was pretty sketchy looking. Soooo I traded my ZR1s that I loved for some C6 DD 18s. They need wider tires but it'll do. They were chrome, and that wasn't happening, so plastidip happened. Black with a layer of glossafier.

Also tried plastidipping my mirrors red, not a bad match! They need some glossafier, but will be anthracite when the car gets sprayed so they're fine matte.

I can't wait, i feel like I've been waiting for this show since fall, it's like my official start of the car season lol.

Brembos should be going on tonight, just in time!

              BOOM!!!

They grab AMAZING!! It will take some getting used to because they lock up the tires fast if your not careful with the pedal.

                • Speed Engineering headers. 1 3/4 to 3". Of corse they came out with 1 7/8 two days after my order.

Also got a Eibach hub centric 15mm spacer kit to replace my cheap slip on 10mm ones. Just for peace of mind I guess.

                  • Those are nice! The only thing holding me back from big brakes is the fact i like autocrossing on junk 16s i usually pay a few bucks and some pocket lint for... 17s and 18s are just a bit more pricey

                    • that was the main reason i wanted to keep 17s. tires for 18s are expensive. i'm probably going to go back to at least a 305 in the back, maybe a 315 when i get new tires. 295s look narrow to me haha

i ordered them from advanced auto's website. they go for about $125 normally but they had a spend $125+ get $40 off, and free shipping if you spent $75 so i got them for under $90 delivered. they are nice pieces, i really wanted hub centric ones and these also come with extended studs as well. part # 90.6.15.033.1

                              • Scored this for a hell of a deal! And I didn't even know it came with a MAF.

                                Anyone need a MAF? I already have a 85mm c5 one.
