  • I don't see why you wouldn't be fine on the street, our car will see its fair share of street duty, we even plan to drive it to the track and back after we shake the bugs out. Having a cage won't have anything to do with the power level unless you plan on taking it to the track all the time or entering in events with it. Just depends on how safe you feel in the car at that power level. That being said I can forsee next winters project already as I think safety will be a concern with the direction we're headed and I will likely want the protection of a proper roll bar.

    • Sounds like things are coming together. I have been watching the progress and have been learning a lot from you both Mike and Jeff. One day I'd like to have a turboed LSx keep up the good work!

      • couple of much overdue pics, the last of which just arrive about an hour ago.

        New catch can

Rest of things I needed for the front coilovers.

Decided after seeing Kolin's car that rustoleum was a good idea (I also used it on my rear end in the past and it still looks great), plus its about half the price for these 2 quarts as it was for one of the chassis saver or POR-15

Gonna keep an eye on how you do the rustoleum. I need to do my Camaro. While under it, noticed some surface rust in some spots.

I've said it once, I'll say it again...TSP It's perfect for pre-paint....matter of fact that's it's main purpose. I use it all the time because it cleans so well. Home Depot or lowes carries it.

You can get it in liquid concentrate. Alittle goes a long way. I just did the whole underside of my car with a few ounces mixed with water.

                            • Waiting on a few more fittings.

Then we still have to remeasure for the return as we changed the location on the tank and also have the feed line from the tank to the pump done up as well.
