Its always great to see how much progress can get done when multiple people start pitching in their efforts. We have a long way to go but I'm very excited and motivated to get crankin on this thing. Hardest part is trying to avoid getting sucked into the downhill spiral of buying everything at once and trying our best to keep focused on getting this car up and running first.

Pics are on the camera at work, I know mike has a pic of some of the parts. We got some 80lb injectors, trans mount, some arp bolts for converter and flexplate, madman torque arm and crossmember.

I went outside today and did like 2 things. I am not motivated after working outside all week to go outside when I don't have to, to work on things.

              Good job with the Progress.

I don't blame you if we were working outside we would probably still need to get the battery out of the car. Here are a couple of pics nothing too special.

Drain plug looks pretty damn clean when we drained the oil

                Injectors

                Bumper off

Add it onto the parts pile

its pricey but we didn't pay close to full price and I would say his tuning advice is well worth it, hopefully we will know soon.

                    • This will be some good insight if I ever plan to go turbo in the future. With all these turbo builds..looks like I will have to just to try and keep up!!

                      • IMO all roads lead to some type of forced induction for a really high HP car you can drive around and race. You can get better mileage with them if you stay out of boost, you can have a much more mild head and cam combination, less compression, and still make more power than you can on a big cube motor alone. The flip side is the initial cost and more parts and accessories to break/replace ect.

                        • well new torque arm mount doesnt fit as is, some slight trimming will be in order, stupid custom rear end never makes anything an easy bolt on.
