Dr. Phil tuned and ran it on the dyno which I think is at a shop on VanDyke near Hall Rd.

      • Ok, let's get this turbo install thing wrapped up!

Turbo cooling, the final piece of the puzzle - Even though it is oil less turbo, coolant needs to be run to keep temps down. So, instead of running lines to the block, I decided to tap into a heater hose in series to make for a good circulation in and out and also allow ease of installation.

So, I looked high and low for a fitting that would allow me to connect a -8an to a 3/4 barbed fitting, but I could not find one in this world!

I called on my good friend to make these two fittings work for me and it came out better than I thought! A little paint and they are done.

        • So he took the two pieces and combined them into one? That's awesome.

            Yes, it worked out nicely.

Well, what do I do now? I'm all done with the turbo install (almost).

Looks close, but there is some clearance between there.

            • This is the worse project and poorest attention to detail I have seen. You should just hide it in my garage so the world can't see what a Frankenstein you have built. For shame, I will even give you some gummy bears just to take it out of your hands.

                      • Well, I'm going to attempt to make this sway bar work, hmmmmmmm..............

ZR1 Blue. OMG, is that factory paint expensive!

                        • Expensive, but those calipers looks great! I like the blue color "pop" without being really bright and attention-whorish.

And, now I see the issue in the suspension. I didn't really follow why re-fitting it would be a challenge. Can you run some spacer blocks - possibly reinforced by gusseting or otherwise tying them in elsewhere for stability?

                          • I am thinking we can make a bracket for that sway bar very easily. 1-piece that bolts to the factory location and leaves a spot for it to mount in the new lower location!

                            Calipers look great!

                            • Calipers look AWESOME...I can't even imagine what that cost...

Just a question though, why do you need a front swaybar?
