I like the STB half for the bling factor and I've heard good things about it. As far as easy weight removal goes. Im Doing
Tire, jack
Rear seats
Racing seats
ABS. Keeping A/C just so I don't have I mess with pulleys.

Shocks won't be for a while mine were just replaced by PO. But still the orange ones. So what's a good size for a sway bar?

On a side note. I've got two LT1 pros talking to me on my build thread. Savoring this moment.

Bilsteins can get all 4 for like 350 from WS6store.

I am not a LT1 Pro by any means hahahaha.

AC pulley. All you do is remove the compressor and put a pulley in its place.
I traded my compressor to a guy on here for the pulley.

Ditto what TJ said. the pulley is the easy 2 minute part. Fannagling the compressor out of the cramped space is the pain in the ass.

The orange DeCarbons you have are not a fantastic shock by any means and they will never compare to a bilstein or koni. Also, not saying this applies to you but the previous owner of my car told me mine were replaced too... even gave me a legitimate SLP receipt for them... But i found no evidence whatsoever that any of those bolts had ever been turned and I'm pretty sure he lied to me.

Yes getting the compressor out was fun.

As far as the Decarbon shocks. If you replaced them, I would say run them for a while.
Since it didn't cost you anything, rip them out and sell them.

Guys look for stock shocks when they have a stock setup. Sure they will sell on Tech.

Ill have to think about deleting the AC there are some times when I like to turn it on. My shocks still pass the push/lean on test so ill delay the bilsteins

The point of having Ttops it to take them off when its nice out, so unless you have a Mullet that you don't wanna get messed up from the windows down, top off, DITCH IT!

Except when you have days like hmm June 1st 2012 and it's all fine and dandy your t tops are off your headed to an awesome meet and greet and boom. Gridlock traffic. 163 degrees in the shade...

Didn't read the whole thread but when I had a stick in my car I blew the rear end and put a set of 2.73s in the rear... well I had a spec stage 3+ and it wasn't fun taking off in first(joel rode in the car) but it was manageable. I put the 4.10s in it and it was soooooooooooooo nice. So if you learn how to drive it how it sits when u do a gear change it will be so much nicer. On a good note if you want to do a top speed run now is the time to do it...2.73 with a 6spd= lots of top end speed. Lol
