  • Sold the converter to pay off credit card. Needed the cash and sold it for what I paid Jonny...sucks but..I'll buy another one.

    So picture time.

    Getting started

    Welding bung in trans pan

Getting ready to replace trans filter

Fixed the threads of the metco adapter (thank god!), so sender is finally mounted

Running the wires for the trans temp

    Bit of customizing some bolts

Crappy pic because I could not zoom out, but shows the location of the bung/sensor

Gauges wired up..hard to get a good pic. Through my camera on phone kept showing the gauges flickering (when they are were not, so best I could do..sticker protector still on one gauge didn't pull it off)

    • Found a crack in the lid. Where it meets the MAF, just a small one that going to repair before it spreads.

After making some minor adjustments..car feels good going down the road

            • When the panned was dropped..had ALOT of metal shavings ..getting close to a rebuild..didn't snag a picture of the gunk but wish I did.

A little bit shocked because seems like the camaro was taken care of very well before I got my hands on it.

                  • If you look closely, you will see tire marks on the garage floor.

Had to jump the Camaro (just been sitting all winter with maybe 2 starts) and reposition in garage. Was pushing through the brakes while pulling out the garage , very weird. Happen before we even did a damn thing. RPM's were in the 2300 range while doing it. Let the car sit out of garage for a good minute..started again and ran perfectly fine.

                        • Yea if Joel has visited. Then my neighbor would of really shouted at the top of her lungs. She doesn't like my tire marks on the street and the sounds of the exhaust that goes with it. And I do not like when her b/f comes by with his trunk and attempts a hole shot down the road. Win win
