Oh I see what hes talking about now. Yeah thats for the aftermarket oil gauge that the previous owner put in the car, I will be working on all of that as well, havent started the interior besides tear down so far. I plan on changing the gauges and the big tac he had in the car as well.

The plastic oil line for your gauge in your car I can see it in the pic where you have a the heater box out. its white with the brass compression fitting.

Yeah I see it now, John cleared up what you where looking at. Like I said above I will be changing that in time with the other gauges as well.

yea i just saw jons post. but imo that would be the first thing i would change, iv seen people ruin engines over thoes stupid plastic lines, get a copper one.

Who found out about the blower motor and squirrel cage for you? Lol jk. Looking good!! Need to get that box in there I've had mine done for weeks. I'm glad I did mine tennesse doesn't get that much snow so I'm taking my car down with me in a few weeks when I move. Keep us posted on progress

yup you gave me the heads up on that one. I am in no rush to get the box back on there, I plan on taking more of the car apart actually! I still am going to clean up the engine bay and make it all white again lots of oil and grime and dirt that needs to be wiped up. Current plans is to get this motor running the way it should and did when first bought it and then work on interior and body. I think I will leave the motor alone (besides cleaning it up and getting it running top notch) this winter and concentrate on body work and getting the car prepped for paint.

I still need to order:

AC Delete pulley
Smaller belt (because I am not running a SMOG pulley)
Spark Plugs
Wires
Cap/Rotor
Heater Core

I still need to finish pulling the AIR system too

come over and lend a hand I could have it out in 2 hours, but what am I going to do with it once its out? Tune up, new gaskets and clean the bay to put it right back in?

When you coming to rip the side moldings off? I have been saving that for you.

Have fun changing that heater core!! It would be a pain in the ass with a stock dash. Im glad my new 4th gen dash only has like 7 bolts holding it on. If your talking about that side gfx they are a pain. There's so many nuts in dumb spots. Just get that injection stuff off of there and you'll be all set! Lol jk. Car already looks good just leave it. That red interiors nice looking I was I could trade my black for it.

Picked these up from Rolo the other day, not sure I am going to use them because I didnt think I would be a fan of 18's on my car. A little big for my taste...

Also my car has now reached BRENT status... all on 4 jack stands! I plan on taking my stock wheels down into the basement and start cleaning them up and polishing them as well. They are in really great shape so I think I am going to hold on to them.

For all you body guys... what should I do before starting to sand down the areas that need attention? How should I clean the body and what should I use?
