• I have founders on my Camaro and they are the most budget friendly company as far as suspension goes.

Once they get more well known, I'm sure their prices will go up.

              This is true.

I have founders for all the rear stuff, and their caster/camber plate kit for the front, I haven't ordered the LCA as of yet, the picture also shows the new sway bars from Suspension Tech found here: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/st...maro/year/1991

The above pics were taken about early December. I haven't touched the car since. I have however picked up some black leather/power C6 corvette seats, and been doing a lot of reading on the harness and wiring, also found my gauge kit I'll be using as well. That Im keeping that a secret for now though.

just a better angle to see the hood too, The rear wheels are in the basement for now until I get rear end back off and axles out for longer studs and mount the rear cts-v brakes which at the point I wont be able to use the 16" wheels cause they wont work with the big 14.5" rotors and 4 piston calipers.

                • big push today and yesterday... first off a big thanks to Ken gols1go for coming out and walking me through the harness, in the few hours he had, he explained, showed, and went over the ls wiring harness.

Spoke with Jeff at Gautz, he was great on the phone, he took some time to talk about what I wanted to see and options and gave me a ball park price. So he is where Im going for exhaust.

Also spoke to Ron over at spin tech, he too was great to deal with on the phone. After speaking with him I picked out the type of muffler would be best as far as what I was looking for in tone and loudness.

I have also picked up a 411 pcm so today Im going to see if I can have the vats removed and a basic ls1 tune put on it, cause right now its for an 8.1 set up.

                  Thats where Im an now.

                      • Remember that the Drive by Wire harnesses will need the IAC and TPS wiring added, and the o2 sensors need to be grounded differently. Other than that I believe the pinouts are the same.

I'd lend a hand if my truck didn't get 14 mpg in this cold weather. Remind me again, 2004 harness?

                        • yup already on the tb sensors, O2's can be grounded by the cpm or to the block or body 04 or 05 can't remember exactly

                          • Good deal.

www.lt1swap.com has some good info on the O2 differences.

Getting the C207 to mate seamlessly into wires from the C2 and C100 connector and one wire from C157 is the part that taxes the brain. Really need my hands on a harness for thinks to click upstairs

                              • Ken, thanks for helping Greg out!

I'm so far away that it makes it pretty much impossible for me to head over with gas prices and weather.

Greg, I just played around with the truck harness in the 60 Impala tonight. It's going to be a major PITA the get this car wired to hide everything...I'm really curious what it would take to do a truck harness in a third gen.
