pushing a lot of progess....should have the powerplant and back in and back on 4 wheels this weekend.

well my last post didnt happen, some very small issues with the paint, and I wasnt happy, so I striped it down, re-did it all. SO much better. Anyway put some new and refinished parts back into the engine bay. Jake [MENTION=479]86Camaro[/MENTION] came over to help with setting the engine and tranny back onto the k-member, she is all ready to be put between the freshened up frame rails.

Looks great greg. Maybe we can split hairs when I come on sat. Work on jakes then yours. Im sure jake would agree.

engine is in, having some trouble with room for the trans mount, trying to shift the tranny over by yourself isnt the easiest. k member is all secure she looks great! will get some pics later on

is the hawks trans mounts look different to you on their site ?

IM having fitment issues with the mount I have and I swear its a t56, guess Im going to have to call them in the am

thank you sir, this block is stock, may do a cam, but may not touch it, and been looking at 6.0 blocks to "play" with. This engine and tranny came out a police tahoe with goodies on it already, no speed limiter, beefed up trans. Body needs very little actual work, prime, wet sand, spray. Going to try like hell to have it "cut in" with in the next 2 weeks.
