          Thanks for the link Mike. No jeff, he said to install them hand tight with blue thread locker.

              Havent ordered one yet. I noticed they happen to be hard to come by when everyone is buying them up!

                what are you gonna end up doing with the sbc afterwards?
                91 Trans am, 305, Lt1 cam, 24lb injectors, headers, SLP LM2, SW chassis, massive panhard, lowered, modded TPI, Tuned, 4.10s, Lincoln locked

                        I blew up my 385 SBC that was in the car previously about a month ago. I'll have to bust out some pictures of my progress so far.

                          Ok so, in particular order from my phone, are pictures of progress.

                          I pulled the 385 out of the car and removed the front bumper cover because I have a new one thats not cracked. (Thanks Curt!) The old one has become a mock up piece for intercooler things and stuff. I cut out the front license plate piece to allow more airflow and cut the actual bumper out for the intercooler itself. I wanted to bring the intercooler as close to the bumper cover as I can so I have enough room behind the intercooler to allow airflow to pass through the radiator.

                          After all that fun stuff, I put the engine (LQ4) in the car to check fitment and oil drain location. Basically thats where I'm at now... waiting for parts again. LS engines fit better than SBC's do! I wanted to try truck manifolds with V bands welded on but, I dont like the fitment in the car. That idea is getting thrown out the window.

                          I have some things on the way to the house that should be here next week. Hoping to get my accesory drive together before any kind of hot/cold side mockup takes place. It's getting there slowly!

                            howd you blow up the 385? are you going to sell it whole or part some of it out?

                                I think the crank broke. I haven't torn into it yet but, there's a ton of movement! Not sure what I'm doing with it. I could part it out a few things.
