Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
More crap ordered. I picked up a standalone engine harness from Techrods, I have an ls6 valley cover, starter, alternator bracket, and some other crap coming. Slowly it's gonna get together.. I may be putting the car together in naturally aspirated format for now..
Battery has been moved to the hatch via BMR's battery tray. I also have been tossing the idea around of painting the engine bay.. Its a street car so, I really dont care that much about it getting dirty and such, its just that some of the paint is peeling. Hmmm decisions decisions!

Dupont DP90 all the way. DJ used it for his Mustang's engine bay (the orange fox body) and it holds up very well and looks great.
Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
This is gonna be beer money 2012 soon! Not much for updates. The G8 has been taking my money lately.
Bought a 31X16 radiator to stuff underneath the core support instead of behind it.
Timing cover is welded up with a 10 AN bung.
The turbo is being center mounted between the radiator and the waterpump (IF it fits) Crossover will be 2.25" OD stainless. Manifolds are 1 5/8" DIY is the only way to go.
I ordered 304 SS Weld Els about $250 worth
1/2" thick header flanges $120
Weld El collectors custom made by Columbia River $200.
Once I get the collectors in I'll pick up a set of V band clamps.
FYI this project has already doubled in cost. I still have a Ford 9" to finish and a 4L80E too.
