Yes, that would be the 'truck ride'. And when I mean a 'truck ride', I'm talking going big....

Couple stars need to line up Gary, but I'm working towards it! Can't make any reservations yet until I know for sure. The ride is definately there, car might be another story...will sleep in this thing during the trip if I have to! If I'm close but still miss it, I will DEFINATELY be at Superfest and Berger

The improvement list got reeeeally long and thought I would take it on a little at a time but was going to make DAMN sure, I did this ONCE! Thanks to the constantly evolving aftermarket industry, I could never make a final decision on what direction to take. Horsepower was high on the list, but it had to be 'unique' and the 403 wasnt going to get it. The more unique it got, the more expensive it was. At that time, funds were tighter, life got in the way, etc, etc....so it sat. Over the years, I've put together an "acceptable" direction for my needs, completed my to do list and am finally going for it.

                  • Thanks Jeff (Detroitmuscle) for the brief guided assistance in backing plate removal off of my 10 bolt!

Almost felt stupid (as predicted, lol)....took all of 15 minutes!!! Popped 8mm bolt, pulled the sensors, rotated the axles to check the C-clip situation and "plop", "plop"....damn things fell out! Pulled the axles, removed plates....ta-daaaaaa!!!! Have a guy stopping by this weekend to pick it up!

                    Next stop for backing plates...MWC!!!

                    • Couple pics of the new bullet "cradle" with a pair of cross-drilled man hole covers at each end...man those things are huge. Spent a few hours this weekend smoothing out the vertical arm of each spindle; ground down casting marks, primed, painted, cleared, etc so it looked more at home with the purty K and control arms.

Motor is still in delay mode waiting for intake, tbody and heads
Rear end will be here next week
Chrome, powder coat and hydro coat parts have been sent out....should have all of it back in the next few weeks!
Have a handful of other goodies in the works...more pics to come!!!

                      In the meantime.....
