          Honestly? No *****ing clue....

Not set up correctly from Kinsler? Not checked or set-up at Virginia Speed.....which leads me towards confirming a handful of other things but only time will tell.

so i thought they put this motor on the dyno with this intake and had it all set for you to drop in and it'd be set? whats with everything being so far out of wack?

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess it was only dyno'd at WOT? At that point it doesn't matter what the vacuum is, just as long as the fuel is there during the pull.

They had to adjust the linkage for each tbody which is a whore with the engine in. #5, 6 and 8 were a real ***** apparently. Confirming tomorrow the tool(s) used to measure the blade openings...

As said earlier....no clue. Kinsler mentioned they're set before they leave BUT require readjustment once they've been heated up (ie, dyno). Once reset they're supposed to be "good", which makes no f'ing sense to me. Asking more questions to them today....

I never saw any info, but have seen it just purring along in the cell. In the car, it was a friggin mess and not very happy. Both banks were pretty f'd up. Thing idles at 500 rpm now without even so much as a vibration....exhaust temps per cyl are within a few degrees of each now, where before we saw as much as 90-100 on a couple of the bad ones.

The blades. The short version is that each runner was measured, calculated and adjusted for the ideal flowrate for the cubes....per cylinder. Some additional adjustments may be necessary, but for now they have a starting point (call it "zero") that now has a "balanced" air/fuel ratio on both banks.

Had the same concern myself, but once its set, there shouldnt be continuous adjustments. Verification equipment to monitor things will be part of my tool kit going forward. Thinking a dual wideband set-up will be necessary....
