The only thing really nobody has done yet is the new crane cam lobe design and trust me there have been several new lobes for the lsx motor lately its not THAT big of a deal IMO. As for spinning the motor higher I would love to see it as well but the camshaft design will be completely different only to be swapped back out again for Brent's ultimate goals.

And I agree about the new cam crane is designing, new lobe designs are serious marketing hype IMO. Like you said, not that big of a deal.
Agreed and agreed. Just like comps newer LSr lobe that turned out to be no better/shitty.

    • Dont want to blow the lobe thing out of proportion.....this is nothing than taking advantage of some technology that's being made available to me and get some press out of it (oooops, did I say that out loud?)

Power gains will be from cam size and lessons learned in the previous runs.

      • Honestly Brent your numbers here are tempting me to sell the other LT1 I have and start building an LS

          • you should ditch that fancy polished valley cover and get a clear one! that way we can all be amazed by the fancy lobes... Does the RHS block allow for you to actually see the cam pretty well through the valley?

                • your car receiving publicity isn't surprising, why would VA speed care to do half the stuff they have to go above and beyond and make sure the numbers deliver they are already printed for this build. Not to mention its a one off. I look forward to reading the articles and then lining up next to this thing and kicking its ass
