Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Lol....no, no, no, but the old tree has to re-bud sooner or later
She has a color scheme that she's always wanted and I have the mechanical 'upgrades' picked out. She said, "and who would this car be for again?". Def wont happen this year, but next year might be a possibility. Fun to talk about anyway....
It's a little inside humor from the front lines at the Camaro Superfest judging tent... You kinda had to be there. Although you may have wanted to die of embarrassment if you had been!

Well knowing you guys I'll go ahead and say I am glad I missed out on this little "bonding" experience you guys shared! You know sometimes 3 really is a crowd or in your guy's case 4 would be the limit! lol!
So brent when this is all done and ready to go the million $$ question is... Are you actually going to drive the thing!?

Well, I don't know, Darren... guess it would have depended if you had been there with your cheerleading skirt on or not!
The short form of the story is that I had a car come into our judging lane at the 2011 Camaro Superfest with a big stuffed Winnie The Pooh bear in the back. I was just trying to put the driver/entrant at ease with some small talk and humor, so I said something like "So, is that the factory original bear, or is that a reproduction replacement bear?" The young man who drove the car in said nothing, but his dad (who had walked in behind the car) took it as a serious judging comment and immediately grabbed the bear out of the back. As he walked away, I hear him say quietly "there's a story behind that bear."
I went ahead and judged the car, but unbeknownst to me, the dad was giving Brent the full download. Turns out that this man's young daughter (and the car owner's baby sister) had gone through a serious illness and unfortunately, she did not survive. Her brother had pledged to her that he would carry her bear with him to all his future car shows in her memory.
So, your buddy Kevin just managed to step onto that land mine with both feet. I didn't even know what had happened until Brent told me later. Needless to say, I felt like a real POS afterwards...
So, that's why Winnie The Pooh has special meaning for some of us 2011 judges!

I hope he got a perfect score from you just because you felt like a POS!
I told Kevin AFTER the sheets were turned in so that's a big "no". To add Kevin's pain, the kid takes that bear to every show and puts it in the seat she sat in. The bear is riddled with pins from all the shows they've attended. Pretty touching story really.....
I still dinged him for not wiping under the doors...
Darren, to answer your previous question, yes I am going to drive it...
