idk what kind it is, it was just the cheapest one
. I figured if I spend $20 on a used one I would be just as well off as spending $50 for a new one.

Just bought the X-pipe. It's brand new (yay for other people aborting their projects). Got it for $77.09 shipped. A brand new one straight from Magnaflow costs about $150.

Well I know cam was a little far off in the plans, but now this shows up:

I'm REALLY tempted. Any thoughts?

eh, after further consideration, I've decided to hold off on the cam. I'll burn that bridge when I get to it (and who knows when that will be). I need to hold on to my money so I can buy some shocks yet this spring too.

random question: it won't hurt anything if I just remove my hoodliner, will it? I suppose the only thing I'm really worried about is it getting too hot after driving.

well according to other forums I asked this on, I guess no hoodliner = no problem. So I got to thinking...with no hoodliner, I could make my hoodscoops functional. Just cut out the black plastic part and put in some black wire mesh. I still have the extras from the car I wrecked, so I could try it with those. Thoughts?

i dont see why not, just take into consideration the fact water will get in there if you drive it while its raining. i seemed to have a few electrical gremlens when i had my cowl hood and water would get sucked in. maybe it was just bad timing idk lol just a thought.wishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

Where do you see the advantage of making the hood scoops functional? If you run a CAI its down in the front bumper so having hood scoops won't affect that air. I guess if you want to cool down the intake manifold and cool down the charge that way.Originally posted by Yoshi94Mines about an inch bigger than Kyles. so I'm thinking about some LCAs, and I always hear "relocation brackets" mentioned in the same breath. What are relocation brackets, and will I need them if I buy LCAs?

They move the back mounting point of the LCAs down, and help reduce wheelhop, especially in lowered applications.Originally posted by alone_and_insane View Postso I'm thinking about some LCAs, and I always hear "relocation brackets" mentioned in the same breath. Generally a recommended buy.Last edited by MP81; February 23rd, 2011, 04:01 PM.Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
