        Got the intake manifold and throttle body installed today. With any luck, it will be on the road this weekend.

          so there's this small vacuum line that comes out of the wiring harness toward the back of the engine, near the rear of the intake manifold. Where does that one plug into?

            Passenger side of the intake. There should be 2 vacuum ports. One to the fuel pressure regulator and then the other to that one.

              Only had about half an hour to work today. Plugged in some plugs and got the valve covers reinstalled, that's about it.

                For you guys who did the AIR delete, what did you use to plug/cap the spot for the hose on the CAI/stock intake?

                  Got just about all of the vacuum hookups and stuff done. I was confused about a bit of it, until I realized that a bunch of it was all part of the emissions system I was deleting. So that's pretty much all put together, and I got the PCM, alternator, and serpentine belt all back in as well. So tomorrow comes the radiator, AC condenser, fans, and intake....and running it

                        Oh don't worry, I've been on shbox.com a good deal, but I've found a number of discrepancies between what my car looks like and what the pictures on the site look like. Most of those pictures are for 1995 MY, but I have a '96. Some of my vacuum lines were different and I have some big module for the throttle cables on the driver's side that I actually haven't seen on any other LT1 car:



                        I have yet to see anything about that on shbox.com

                            No idea. All I know is it's big and ugly and has throttle cables connected to it.

                                yeah it does...although ABS and TC haven't worked as long as I've owned the car (3 years)
