Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
OK, it's "OFFICIAL", we're canceling the work day on Saturday due to unusually cold forecasted temps. :snowman:
Naw, I think you guys should go ahead and work. It will be 67 degrees where I'm working LOL.
To be honest the painter suggested waiting a little while to put trim back on as he said the paint will continue to get much harder over the next couple of weeks.

Did they bake the car after paint? I don't know what Berger's setup is if they had any type of heat-cure setup they use. If not, I'd definately suggest waiting at least a week before putting the trim on. Nothing is worse than putting trim on and having paint humps around the edge because it was still soft when you put it on. Being cold it will take longer than normal for it to cure.

Yes, the car was baked. And no, we shouldn't put trim back on the car yet. There is a lot more stuff that needs to be accomplished before putting the trim back on the car. I am very concerned that some of the painted items may get scratched or worse by leaving the on the floor in Dougs garage by people working or just admiring the painted pieces. We should come up with a plan as to where the"finished" parts should be stored (out of harms way) while we are working on the other stuff.
