Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Thank You John, I will be there about 10. Hopefully the wheels will all see the ground TODAY

Those pics are in my camera. After your phone call, we buttoned up things in the garage and headed out. I left the camera in the garage, and when we got back home from Wayland, I fell asleep on the couch!
Getting old, with a bum liver, sucks!
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

Yesterday was GREAT!!!
Today was just as historic and 20 years in the making!!! And I must admit pretty emotional as well.
Project DZ74 is rolling on it's own wheels and has been loaded up and moved to Berger Chevy for Paint and Body
Thanks to Al for hauling the trailer. And to Dave and Angie who didn't even know we had borrowed it

Had a ball again today! Matt Berger was excited to see the '74 and he helped push it in to the body shop. We went over things with the Body Shop manager and Matt B. They were both surprised at the condition of the car, they were expecting a shell needing all new sheet metal. I'd have to say they were pleasantly surprised. Matt Berger told us when we were leaving, that he plans to go to the body shop every day and get a progress report to make sure things are happening! Alan Jr. and I are going over to Dougs' tomorrow to get rest of the parts that need to get to Berger's Body Shop.
Way to go Ray and Doug!!! I knew the car would be a roller again this week.
And of course to the Kemps after they read the post and see their trailer in the photos.
It's neat to see the car out in the daylight after all of these years but even cooler to hear how excited Matt Berger is with the project. He definitely is a "Car Guy" at heart
Another BIG THANK YOU goes out to Ray, Al and my son Tim for spending another day in my garage wrenching on the Project DZ74! And thanks to Dave and Angie for the use of your trailer!
I can't believe the old Camaro is on 4 wheels again!
Today, we're going to get the rest of the body parts (fenders, hood, upper & lower valances, headlight buckets and spoilers) out to Berger's body shop.
I think I will then take about a 2 day nap! You guys are wearing this old guy out! I fell asleep on the couch AGAIN last night.
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

It was funny, Doug and Tim went to town to get bolts for the steering box. Car was still in the garage. Al and I looked at each other and said "on the trailer?" , "Hell yes!". And had the car all loaded up and straps attached by the time Doug got back

Is this car going to be ready for Woodward this year?
Really.. That would be cool to see it back together and on the road.
Currently Owned F-Bodies
1994 Firebird 3.4L V6 SPI, T5, Black with T-Tops and Leather Interior (Daily Driver) 1985 Trans-Am 383 Stroker Carb., Black with T-Tops (Hobby Car) 1986 Trans-Am 5.0L TPI, Blue with T-Tops. (Project Car)
My goal is to have the car all done and on the road by Camaro Superfest, which is June 29-July 1, 2007.
Today we got the rest of the parts out to Berger Chevrolet's body shop. I expect the car to be in the body shop for a month or maybe a little longer. Once it's back home, we'll have to fab up the transmission cross member for the 6 speed, and start re-installing everything else.
Thanks again to today's helpers: Al, Alan Jr., Tim and Steve O. Here are a few more photos ............
