If anybody out there has not had the privledge of meeting Doug, you need to do so. He has one of the biggest hearts of anybody I ever met,and he also has a great knowledge of cars. And you should hear his stories.

Dino is right, one of the nicest guys I have met, I am only a better person for meeting him!

This is such a cool project, I was able to help out but not physically only monetary. I can't wait to hear about the next chapter.

Chris, I hope to meet the guys from Year One next week on the Hot Rod Power Tour.

While we're waiting to hear at what level Year One will be involved, we've been researching what parts we'll need to install the 6 speed. WMCCjames has been a big help, since he's already done the 6 speed conversion in his IROC-Z

It has been quite a historic day!
For the first time in 20 YEARS Doug's '74Z (Project DZ74) is off the rotissiory
And it has a BADASSSSSSS front suspension on it
Full Tubular Upper and Lower Control Arms that Global West sold us at a nice discount and QA1 Coilover Shocks that Year One contributed at NO CHARGE
We hope tomorrow to have the rear suspension under her and actually have her sitting on the wheels.
Thanks to Gary, Greg, John S, John F., Wade, Tim, Al, Al Jr., Jan and Tracey for helping out today

Those tubular control arms look sweet as hell! Are they lighter than the stock arms? She's gonna be a badass ride when it's done.

                                Ray,

Thanks for posting those historic photos! I certainly can't properly express my heartfelt Thank You enough, to express my true feelings. I am truely blessed with so many dear friends.

Thank You to everyone that helped today: Ray, Gary, John S., John F., Greg, Wade, Al, Al Jr., Tim, Jan & Tracey (thank you for the food!).

If it wasn't for a couple of VERY stubborn Del-alum bushings in the rear, we would have had the car on 4 wheels today. But, hopefilly that will happen on Monday, and the car will be on it's way to paint.

                                Unbelieveable! 8-O

I was hoping to post a couple of pics from my camera too, but I fell asleep on the couch! You guys are wearing me out.
