THANK YOU BERGER CHEVROLET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FOR BERGER CHEVROLET!

Do you have a 2 post lift? We are actually looking for a place local where we can get the car up in the air. We have to do so paint work to the bottom of the car and some rear suspension work. I have a place where we can do the work but its 80 miles from where the car is.Originally posted by 97rs4lifeif you need a shop to work in some saturday let me know. Hey Travis,
Thanks for the helpful offer. I'm sure it will be a while before we're ready to attack the bottom of the car. We've got to fab up a transmission cross member for the 6 speed, and that should probably be done before we work on the underside paint. But when we're ready, I'm sure your lift will come in very handy.
I deliverd the new weatherstripping out to Berger today, so they just have to put those on, and mount the doors and trunk lid. It could be ready to come home on Wednesday or Thursday.
Here are some pics from my visit today. They have finished buffing everything and cleaned things up a little since yesterday. The first pic has the trunk lid in the foreground. Looks great!Attached FilesRIP Doug,You will always be remembered

Wade: They just masked off the panel between the tail lights. The paint there was perfect. Also, the Type LT trim pieces, above and below the painted stripes, are not available as NOS or repro, as far as I know. At this stage, I'm not totally sure if I will have the hood graphic painted back on? I will, however have the same three color pin stripes put back on the IROC front bumper spoiler. Once the front sheet metal gets reassembled, I will decide then. The 1980 Z28 hood scoop that's molded on the hood, might look good just leaving it plain.
Once we get the car, and all the parts back home, we'll decide what task to tackle next. It might be getting the engine/trans assembled and making the mods necessary to the cross member for the 6 speed? We'll see how it goes.RIP Doug,You will always be remembered
