  • Yeah. I always use Putfile, since it usually has a pretty decent quality. Youtube tends to make bigger files lower quality.

                • UPDATE for today ............

Ray was here pretty much all day. We got the brake master cylinder mounted along with the new SSBC adjustible proportioning valve. It took a little creative engineering, but we got it done. We bled the system and everyhting turned out well. The Project now has an engine that runs, and brakes that work !!!!! We're getting closer.

So, we moved onto the hydraulic clutch, and that's where we hit a snag. This was a hydraulic clutch master and slave cylinder (used) out of a '95 Z28. When we started to bleed this system, we discovered brake fluid running down under the dash near the pedals. The master cylinder was leaking around the rod.

Luckily we found this before we had any front end sheet metal installed. It was still a big pain in the neck to remove the master cylinder, but would have been much worse with the fenders and inner fenders on. We'll pick up a new master cylinder and try it again.

                      • Ray is the man !!!!!! Over 12 hours out in the garage today. Thanks for posting the pics, Ray. We're getting to be a pretty good team.

I can't believe we're getting this close. The hood was just sitting on there so we could check alignment (and see how it looks! ). There's still quite a bit to install for the front end: Upper & lower valances, headlight housings and headlights, bumper, several brackets, etc. But, we're closing in on having it "streetable".

There's tons of details and little areas to attend to yet, but we're gaining on it.
