        • Very nice! Wheels coming in soon? What are you doing with the angle iron bolted to the wheel hub?

            You shouldn't have asked

The angle bar is so I can measure my wheel width options. I would rather the wheel stick further in than further out. (My rear wheel wells are 13.75 inches wide without the lip being modified.) The reason I don't care for 315s on 4th gens is because the bottom of the tire sticks out too much compared to the body line.
            .
I can buy four new 17x8 with new 225 50s for $1300 shipped(one piece wheels). But that creates two problems one, 225 50's are too narrow I would prefer 255 45s and 2, I would prefer to have 9.5" wide wheels in back with a 285 tire. With the back spacking I need the 9.5" wheels are a two piece wheels so the wheels would not match. Meaning for the fronts and rears I would need to order 2 piece wheels but that is close to 1300 in wheels alone. Then I would buy 255/45s and 285/40s
It been quiet the learning experience! I been temping to get 18s in back so I can get a tire height I would prefer but the 18s would make my drums brake look too tiny. I wish they made a 275 45 17.

            • I think the drums being tiny is much less of a deal than the tires/wheels being proportional to the car. There are plenty of ways to address that later!
