Will do! most of the things on my list require some finess or research before being able to check them off. If they were easy I would have them check off already.
    We'll be in touch.

Indeed! It is a very good reason to make sure you have good grounds. I remeber hearing the new Volt has close to a mile of wiring. I dunno how true that is but I am sure it is over 1/2 mile.

I am getting those custom made 20x8s and 21x10s They are kinda expensive but thats how I roll.

I determined I want 17s because tire choices in 16s suck and my tiny disc brakes would look too embarassing with a 18 diameter.
I really want to use at least a 275 tire in back(even though I don't have the power) and with the tire diameter I want that means I need a 9 in wide wheel. Most of the wheels I like only come in 8 inches wide. Due to my budget I keep looking back at TT IIs. They are very common but they always look great!

              • You had TTIIs on there last time I saw it, correct? I remember them looking right at home!

I think you should upgrade brakes in the future, those always look nice behind a great rim.

Like Darrren said they were likely the 17x9.5 TT2 with 7inches backspacing unless your referring to the 15 inch TT Ds I had installed for a while.
                    With a 9.5" wheel I am looking to get a 5.5 backspacing.

In respect to brakes... I would upgrade them if I had drums but the original owner paid $64.25 for power disc brakes!
your right they always look nice, but they limit your wheel choices(No TT 2s) and they won't stop much better unless I start doing repeated high speed stops.

                    • You should be able to fit decent size brakes behind 17" TT IIs.

Those kits are expensive, It would be much cheaper to by an adapter bracket from kore3 and do a C5 13" conversion which I have considered many times however if I have 13 rotors up front I should really upgrade my 9" drums in back. In back the easiest thing would be to install 11" drums but If I wanted disc brakes in back I would likely have to get creative if I want to keep my emergency brake. An you would also have to deal with brake proportioning. But more importantly it would screw up my ABS.

                              • I am finally heading in the right direction.... again.
I replaced the replaced the power steering pump again! sending unit AGAIN, and I also replaced printed circuit in the cluster and re installed the dash, so all of the gauges work properly including the fuel gauge.
Darren came buy one night and gave me a hand installing the rear armrest. Thanks Darren!
The other accomplishment I will let Joel point out.
