I like how the video in the daytime isn't rev'd up way high but the other day when I showed up at your house you woke your neighbors up to show it off to me and your Dad was probably more excited than you lol. I love it Brett good progress.

Thanks guys! The WOT videos will come in a few days once I take off the storage insurance and put on the road insurance.

I also istalled a turndown on the cutout. It makes it a little quiter, but I like the tone better than just beltching out the side.

Haha, they shouldn't have been in bed so early! lol

With this video, I was trying to hit the same RPM's as the earlier one for a good comparison.

One of the primaries had been banging on the motor mount, so I am going to have to do something about that.

I am going to have to either flatten the primary a little bit or try and grind down some of the motor mount. I have a torch, pry bar, and an air grinder so I can go either route.

What kind of metal is the cast part of the motor mount?

Well I decided to go down the heat and pry bar route which seemed to work pretty decently. If I listen very intently I can barely hear/feel it at certain RPM's, but I think it's only because I am really concentrated on it. Now I can feel a vibration on the other side but I know where that one is coming from and should be an easy fix.

Good new - I dropped the car off with Dr. Phil to get tuned and should have her back tomorrow night.

Yeah - you can hear anything if you concentrate on it hard enough, but if you get distracted with music or someone in the car, then you shouldn't have any issues!

                      • After I got the car tuned and back from Phil I noticed that my PCV system lines were broken. I decided to leave it at home and take the beater up to school.

Here is the new PCV set up - RevExtreme catch can & I made the lines.

There are still a few things that I am going to do over the summer (little things that I should have probably done first).

                        • Poly Motor Mounts - Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I should have done them with the headers off, but time wouldn't allow it.

                        • I got the idea this Sunday at about 8pm that I wanted to repaint my calipers, so I went to the store and got the supplies, and did it that night. I chose to go with black because I thought the red looked out of place and didn't go with the color theme of the car.

The previous owner had half-ass painted them red and the paint was flaking off and wasn't on the whole caliper.

So this is how she spent some of the weekend and Memorial Day...

It was too overcast to get good pics when I finally got the car out of the garage and drove back up to school. Hopefully some better pics will be coming soon.
