Honestly? I know you're low on funds so I'll tell you the cheapest way. Clean it with dish soap or degreaser if you have it (I'll give you some if you don't), scrub it, etc.. See if someone you know can sandblast it for cheap, if not wipe it down with laquer thinner. Tape off the runner's and where the sensor's go. By some high heat paint and high heat primer, prime it, let it dry, wet sand and paint it. Let it dry and go from there. Your best bet is to powdercoat everything though.

If you have an air compressor I'll lightly port it for you. My compressor I think took a dump.

laquer thinner will work just fine just get a clean paint brush and put it on that way then tape it off and paint it

dude i never reflashed my motor for no emissions or anything and my car runs like a pissed off bull, just ask the Pissed off guy in the 5th gen Z06 vette

remember, the computer doesnt even use any of that at wide open throttle so it doesnt really matter, when my car is DONE i will be more then happy to help you with your headers and what not.

which reminds me you have a 96, You have a o2 sensor after the cat hahah, that sucks i don't, Im going to be getting O2 bypass's for my exhaust when im done with my 306cam.


And get the full race headers, Emission headers get in the way and are tacky in the engine bay.
