yaa i need some more power, im to use to my car and with the cam it needs to breath better, i wanna do headers but the money isnt there and my dad is hell bent on me not getting them. plus the cash is more the thing at the moment and time, its my dd cant have it out for even a day. so i figure a ported intake and a tb would be a little more umpfwishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

yeah when i got my heads ported i noticed a big increase in power but i also noticed my wallet bent over and shit itself to death.
so wait you don't have headers or ported heads on a cammed motor? damn that sucker needs some air.

I haven't been following your thread Fred (sorry
) but what all do you plan on doing to the car? PM me if it's super secret. But a 52 mm right now would probably yield you the best results right now. I see no need for a 58 unless you're doing some radical cam or stuff along the lines of that. I have a 58 on my car, but that's bone stock

lol its ok well i have a lt4 hot cam kit in the car. with a 75 shot of nitrous. im not planning anything big until the engine goes but for now just want the top end to be done. ported heads intake and tb to go along with the cam. the headers will prob come when the engine goes and i get rid of all this emmisions control crap
il go with a full race header

for now look into some cheap ass ugly headers alteast It will get the job done for now, and i'll help you kill off all the emissions BS.
why doesn't your dad want you to use them? does he think your car will be louder? not really if your using the same exhaust setup.
but it will flow 10x better. i have a straight exhaust and ported heads my car flows awesomely I just wish my dad had let me order long tubes cause i payed 580 bucks for my mid length BBK chrome headers and they weren't supposed to rust which they did so i gotta call them next week. BBK suck ass.

i would go with a full length header, well its a mulitple of problems, he hates me dumping money into a 4k car is this biggest issue. he says i have spent enough, and 2 he says they are nothing but trouble fit for crap and just come loose, which in some cases yes but hes just using that as a excuse because he hates seeing me dump money into the car. he wants me to save it and i see where hes coming from i just like modding my carwishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

My Hooker LT's are ceramic coated. They're rusting, almost every header will rust unless its stainless. I polish mine all the time but it's still there. My header bolts vibrate loose every now and then too. It's part of the maintenance, and yes header's will make your car louder especially without cats.Joe - ATM SQUADAt the shop, watching them build my car.

EDIT: Yup, you'll have to get tuned for the O2 sensors, !EGR and !AIR

I think that I have a pretty good idea of what he has done. But for some reason he doesn't want it out in the open, so I'll keep my mouth closed.
