anyway just washed the car, heres a few pictures. and an joe thanks for the tire shine

the hod it self doesnt fit to well, the corners up by the windsheild stick up and we adjusted to and thats the best its going to get, the hood runs great along the fender until a certain spot then it flares up. and there is like 0 clearance between the hood and my wipers so it cant come down any further. i have email hawksthirdgen and am waiting for a response, but all in all im happy with the way it looks and all the eyes it catches now.

i am resizing pictures be just a minute

      • I'd return that hood. From the pictures it looks like it fit's like crap. There's too much of a gap by the headlights and it gets bigger towards the drivers side. The corners like you said, and the sides look wavy.

thats exactly how my OEM SS hood fits, i think his looks good, if he really wanted it perfect he could sand it and have the hood steamed. but thats costly

Or he could have it replaced for one that fit's good. I don't know what's wrong with your guys' hood's; but mine fits perfectly, every Camaro I know, their hoods line up. I'd call them and complain see if they'll exchange it for another one or give you some money back.

            • Well the prick i bought it from left it in his garage for 6 years on the Tips and from the heat and winters the hood started to bend.

              • I don't see where it fits all that bad except on the top by the windshield cowl - and no offense but it isn't aligned by a body shop professional so when he has it painted I'm sure they can get it to line up a little better. Just needs more tweaking.

And I saw you driving southbound on Van Dyke at 17 Mile today around 4:30-5pm. Car looked good, I was going northbound on Van Dyke in my TB else I would've revved at ya.
