Haha it has nothing to do with stereotypes. It'd be different if he parked next to something nice, but a Saab? That'd be like photoshooting every time I park next to something else. Maybe it's just me, but that Saab ranks right up there with photo shooting with a 2005 Chevy Malibu.

    • Its cause you haven't seen this Saab.

I love this car to death, it has those subtly touches that make it stand out (like those pertty rims).

      • I forgot to post these pictures I took about two weeks ago, came out pretty nice.

On Saturday I was up in Lake Orion, and went up to Oxford with Russ to help him with his S10 and hangout. The storage unit was really cool, so I decided to do a little mini photoshoot. I had to use my phone's camera, because my actual camera was left in Flint because one of my brothers who had been using it left it in his room and he didn't get back before I left to go home. Pictures came out decent though.

And then today, I picked up a spare SS/TC exhaust system (big thanks to bri2203!!!). Hopefully I can get this thing on soon. The flange needs to be changed to a 2-bolt from the 3-bolt that's on there, it needs to be welded back together where it was torched apart and one of the hangers needs to be rewelded on. But it's all good for the deal I got!

Free for me. Less than $100 for my parents. Not a bad deal, and should hold me over till I have $700 for an aftermarket catback - the stock LT catback is killing me right now. Not a helper for performance or fuel economy.

            • Get some rims on that cobalt of yours.. then you can take some pictures. I'm with Brian here, your photoshoots are always the same, I click this expecting something new and exciting and I always see the same shots from the same angles with your plain jane cobalt or that ugly saab lol. Seriously, you dont see me taking pictures every time I pull my firebird out and my brothers jimmy is in the driveway..

              • Give me money and I can get rims. I currently have no money.

And I like taking pictures of my car, especially in new and exciting places. To me, it's new and exciting. I like when I take good pictures of my car. I'm not sure you people get the Saab, but whatever, it's not like you've ever seen it in person, and I really don't care.

I'm pretty sure I've never done a photoshoot with my car in a storage facility, and I thought it would be a cool idea. Guess I was wrong. Guess I'll just stop taking pictures of my car.

                  • Bigger piping (my stock exhaust is 1.75-2", this is 2.25-2.5"), less restrictive muffler and resonator.

                      • Since this isn't a Cobalt site, I don't think most of us recognize the difference between the two exhaust systems there (and I don't mean it in a rude way). Which one is the new one and which one is the old one, Kyle? The one on the left with all the surface rust looks less restrictive but the one on the right with the huge box looks cleaner with the nice exhaust tip.

                        • Those are pics of the exhaust system he just bought Brian lol its a stock exhaust off of an SS cobalt hence the huge muffler. Also they do have cobalt specific forums which I'm sure he is a part of.

                          • So wait both parts is 1 exhaust system? I was thinking it was a side by side comparison of the old and new (or new and old ) exhaust systems.

                            • yep one is the intermediate pipe coming off the cat (I assume this) and the other is the end with the muffler, I don't see any factory car coming with no muffler B
